| The Centennial Gardens Project began with a Gazebo built
following our "Come Home To Archerwill" Centennial Celebration
in 2005. Since that time the Centennial Gardens has grown to
encompass three lots, all of which are being developed and maintained by
locals as part of the Garden Club.
Centennial Gardens was created to promote community and the appreciation of nature, celebrating the past and working together for all to enjoy in the future. Thanks to our volunteers, sponsors, and most importantly, the people who appreciate and partake of the Centennial Garden's beauty; it continues to grow and develop into a true symbol of the heart of the community. Some of us are gardeners because we enjoy producing our own food, and some of us are gardeners for the enjoyment of adding beauty to the world. All of us are gardeners because we are in awe of the beauty of nature in the cycle of the seasons - from the dead of winter which leads to the renewal of Spring, to the abundance of summer and the vibrancy of Fall - every season is a season for gardeners. |
