The RM of Barrier Valley encompasses an area of 819 square km and  boasts a population of 596 people.

The RM of Barrier Valley #397 operates from the Village Office and is open Monday to Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.  The RM can be reached by telephone at 323-2101.
